So I met Abbi and Garrett at a coffee shop to discuss their wedding day and their plans for their special day. I typically start consultations with my approach to capturing a wedding day and why I enjoy actually photographing wedding. After I go over my process I get to know the couple and how they met.
I always love hearing how couples meet, I love hearing all of the details and it really helps get me invested in their story and it gets my wheels turning on how I would like to document their day.
I get to travel back to North Carolina in a couple of weeks to Golden Road Vineyards to document Abbi and Garrett’s wedding and I can’t wait. The temperature is changing and I’m crossing my fingers that the foot hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains are going to give us a wonderful backdrop to document their day. (crossing my fingers for autumn colors).

Abbi and Garrett were so fun to hang with and had some creative ideas for their engagement session. Including wading through some chilly creeks to grab some very fun engagement shots. I love collaborating with couples to actually capture who they are as people. Something different and unique like this inspires me and i’m so grateful that they chose me to document their day.
